Pokemon

OH MY GOD I just dug up my old GBA POKeMON games, I have them all, it's quite pathetic really, and just started playing Fire red again.

You can't believe how much I missed/am enjoying them.

I don't know, there's something about being asked STRAIGHT TO YOUR FACE weather you're a boy or a girl that warms up your heart.

Will keep posting random lolz I re-encounter through the game every once in a while, like for example walking around minding your own business when someone from OFF SCREEN walks up to you and goes "WHAT'CHOO JUST SAY?? YOU WANT SUM DIS??"

And the fact that you can take Brock's Onyx out with a single bubble attack.

The old guy with the vulpix that says "I've never won before"....ooooh lord such good times.

PM me if you're interested in this.

Brink?

What do you guys think about Brink?

I believe it's just TF2 with choppy animation and NextGen graphics.

Lemme know what you guys think, and weather or not you're gonna buy it when you see its reviews, pre-order it, Skip it entirely, Or maybe play it at a friends then judge (that's what I'm gonna do)?

PS. Preparing a review for Killzone 3 as to be posted as soon as I get a few decent multiplayer games.

Bulletstorm: The Weapons

PeaceMaker Carbine

PeaceMaker Carbine is a basic weapon the player is given at the start of the game. It’s your regular assault rifle with the ability to be charged via the R2/Right Bumper, unleashing 100 bullets to fire a single shot of energy which instantly burns the target. If it’s fully charged, you will be granted the ‘Overkill’ Skillshot. Unlike other weapons, the ammo of this weaponautomatically refills after every wave.

Flail Gun

One of my personal favorites, Flail Gun shoots explosive devices attached by chain link. Alternate fire detonates the explosives. You can set up ambushes, choke enemies shooting the flail at their necks. Think remotely-triggered sticky bombs. When charged, the secondary fire heats the chain so that it can cut through its target.

Bouncer

The Bouncer is used to shoot “bouncing” cannonballs. It also features a secondary fire mode when the player charges the weapon before firing. If charged when fired, the cannonball does not detonate until the charge button is released. The charge shot is a fired-up exploding ball which can be leashed and kicked around for a bit.

Headhunter

The Headhunter is a sniper rifle that can be used to zoom in on enemies via its scope. Using the charged shot the player can control the direction of the bullet and trigger a detonation.

I just don't get how enemies can have time to dodge the sniper bullet, It just makes shooting one in the balls near impossible.

MINIGUN

The Minigun fires 20mm cannon rounds. It has a very high fire rate but very low accuracy. It has unlimited ammo but will overheat if used for too long. It is also battery-powered, limiting the duration it can be used.

And Last but definitely not least.

The Energy Leash

The leash is the weapon which this game is pretty much based upon, most definitely the most fun to combo up with all previously mentioned weapons into sick and twisted ways to mess up enemies.

The Leash is an energy whip that can be used to grab enemies at long range or to activate area affects. Similar to the Kick when the Leash is used against against enemies it causes them to float in slow motion for a small period of time. This allows the player to string together various attacks to set up Skillshots.

There are two primary attacks when using the Leash against enemies. The first will grab and pull towards you, and the second is the slam attack where the enemy is slammed into the ground and a small explosion sends them skywards.
The Leash can also be used to open drop pods in order to change weapon layouts. Here is what you’ll get with upgrades:

Default
Leash Recharge Rate: 6 Seconds
No Thumper. 3 Thumpers when unlocked.

Upgrade 1
Leash Recharge (2000 Sp) / Thumper Capacity (1000 Sp)
Reduce the Recharge Rate of your Leash to 5 Seconds
Upgrade the maximum number of Thumper Charges by 1

Upgrade 2
Leash Recharge (4500 Sp) / Thumper Capacity (3000 Sp)
Reduce the Recharge Rate of your Leash to 4 Seconds
Upgrade the maximum number of Thumper Charges by 2
Upgrade 3
Leash Recharge (6000 Sp) / Thumper Capacity (5000 Sp)
Reduce the Recharge Rate of your Leash to 3 Seconds
Upgrade the maximum number of Thumper Charges by 3

That was a quick recap of the weapon system of Bulletstorm, People can Fly did a great job with them.

I'll be moving on to other games after this one.
Hope this was useful in any way.
Me love you long time.

Bulletstorm - Also "Spoiler Alert"

Yay, my first review.

A while ago I got the game Bulletstorm for the PS3. And I enjoyed ever living minute of it.

The campaign is action packed, quick yet well paced (unlike Black Ops), and filled with dick jokes...They got me hooked when Grey called me "Dick tits" at the demo.

The shooting is very satisfying, The score system is awesome, had me planning for another play through before I finished the first one.

I am an easily satisfied guy.

They used Unreal engine which did the game justice, The graphics were beautiful and the big scale battle was awesome, The leash added a whole new level of gameplay.
And each and every weapon was unique (Sorry "God Of War III"), satisfying and awesome to use. (I will be making a mini post later today about each weapon)

The direction of the art and the feel of the controls felt a lot like "Borderlands"...which is a good thing.
All in all, "Bulletstorm" is "Borderlands" on Viagra.

The downside is there are quite a few bugs within the game play, Most of which forces you to restart from the nearest checkpoint, god knows what it took to get where you are.
For example some of the mini boss battles would have me stuck with no one to fight and no where to go, possibly because the triggered enemies didn't spawn correctly.

And quite a good number of the sudden movements the player is put through by enemies would bypass collision detection, Causing the player to clip through a wall, and not be able to get back to the outside world.

A shotgun dude once kicked me at a wall of spikes, I clipped inside of it, I was able to jump ontop of it, but was able to go nowhere from there. I had to restart from checkpoint.

Another time, a man eating plant pulled me in, I was able to break free at the VERY last second, I was clipped behind the plant, where i roamed freely outside the map...and had to restart from checkpoint.

That was all the downsides I'd experienced with the game, Minor inconveniences which I would think have already been fixed by the time of posting this.

The Echo game more is awesome as well, Allowing you to play through a specific piece of the map through some enemies for the highest score.
Although some of the scores I got didn't get registered right away.
I hope that gets fixed as well.

I'm definitely going for another play through on hard, I got 75% of the skillshots the first time, and planning to get 100% the next one.

I didn't get a chance to play the multiplayer due to lack of games, But I think that is due to the un-extreme popularity of the game itself.

So to sum it up, here's what to/to not expect when buying this game.

What to expect:
-Amazing graphics.
-Satisfying shooting.
-Pwning enemies.
-Shooting people in the balls then kicking their heads off.
-Copious amount of dick jokes.
-Amazing and satisfying weapons.
-Wide enemy variety.
-Minor bugs.

What not to expect:
-A "Call of Duty" online experience.
-An epic ending.
-High replayability.
-Characters which can be taken seriously (Sometimes).

I would also like to announce that i'm creating a side blog beside this one, Called "Spoiler Alert" Where I would talk about the actual stories of the game, I take spoiling games and movies very seriously, I get very upset and I would hate to do it to people as much as I would hate it being done to me.

Side Blog: http://my-spoiler-alert.blogspot.com/

As previously stated, this is only my personal opinion of the game.

For what IGN thinks head up to: http://ps3.ign.com/objects/142/14274039.html

Thank you for reading.
Me love you long time.
