Bulletstorm: The Weapons

PeaceMaker Carbine




PeaceMaker Carbine is a basic weapon the player is given at the start of the game. It’s your regular assault rifle with the ability to be charged via the R2/Right Bumper, unleashing 100 bullets to fire a single shot of energy which instantly burns the target. If it’s fully charged, you will be granted the ‘Overkill’ Skillshot. Unlike other weapons, the ammo of this weaponautomatically refills after every wave.

Boneduster





The Boneduster is a four-barreled shotgun. It’s powerful impact can be used to push or juggle enemies. Basically it shoots air which creates an impulse that pushes your target away from you so you can interact with the environment.

Flail Gun





One of my personal favorites, Flail Gun shoots explosive devices attached by chain link. Alternate fire detonates the explosives. You can set up ambushes, choke enemies shooting the flail at their necks. Think remotely-triggered sticky bombs.When charged, the secondary fire heats the chain so that it can cut through its target.

Bouncer




The Bouncer is used to shoot “bouncing” cannonballs. It also features a secondary fire mode when the player charges the weapon before firing. If charged when fired, the cannonball does not detonate until the charge button is released. The charge shot is a fired-up exploding ball which can be leashed and kicked around for a bit.

Screamer



The Screamer is a powerful and accurate 8-shot revolver. It’s primary fire is capable of killing an enemy grunt with one shot to the head, or three to the body. When charged, it fires a flare that explodes, igniting nearby enemies.

Penetrator


The penetrator is a type of nail gun, only that it fires drills instead of nails. The chargeshot fires a rocket-propelled drill.

Headhunter



The Headhunter is a sniper rifle that can be used to zoom in on enemies via its scope. Using the charged shot the player can control the direction of the bullet and trigger a detonation.

I just don't get how enemies can have time to dodge the sniper bullet, It just makes shooting one in the balls near impossible.

MINIGUN


The Minigun fires 20mm cannon rounds. It has a very high fire rate but very low accuracy. It has unlimited ammo but will overheat if used for too long. It is also battery-powered, limiting the duration it can be used.

And Last but definitely not least.

The Energy Leash


The leash is the weapon which this game is pretty much based upon, most definitely the most fun to combo up with all previously mentioned weapons into sick and twisted ways to mess up enemies.

The Leash is an energy whip that can be used to grab enemies at long range or to activate area affects. Similar to the Kick when the Leash is used against against enemies it causes them to float in slow motion for a small period of time. This allows the player to string together various attacks to set up Skillshots.

There are two primary attacks when using the Leash against enemies. The first will grab and pull towards you, and the second is the slam attack where the enemy is slammed into the ground and a small explosion sends them skywards.
The Leash can also be used to open drop pods in order to change weapon layouts. Here is what you’ll get with upgrades:
